Flying saucer (frisbee)

 ULTIMATE

The game start with a pull towards the opponent team while shouting “ultimate”. There is a draw to decide who start the game.

The player who takes the frisbee can not run or walk and only have 10 seconds to throw the frisbee. They can only move one foot. The time is counted by one opponente player. The defender must, at least, stay three metres from the attacker.

Your team scores a point when a player takes the frisbee in the end zone.

If the frisbee drops the game goes on.

Tennis

A game of tennis is played by hitting-striking the ball in a way that an opponent can not return it. It´s played on a rectangular court by two (singles) or four (doubles) persons.

THE COURT

                                               

The court is divided across the middle by a net.

RULES

A tennis game starts with the server tossing the ball into the air and hitting it with a racquet. The receiver returns the ball.

If a ball touches the line it is OK.

At the end of each game the receiver get into the server and the server get into the receiver.

The ball can bounce once.

If each player wins three points, the score is “Deuce”. After deuce the score is advantage.

MINI OLYMPIC GAMES

 These are the sports we are playing in our Mini Olympic games. Scottish students will play the same sports in their School.

SITTING VOLLEY

The court size and height of the net are modified for sitting volleyball. Modifications to gym space are acceptable for local play, as long as both courts are equal in size. The net is 1.15m for men and 1m for women.

Key Rule Modifications that are Different from Standing Volleyball

The position of each player is determined and controlled by the position of their bottoms. “Bottom” is defined as the upper part of the body, from shoulder to one’s buttocks.

The player is not allowed to lift his/her bottom from the court when executing any type of attack-hit.

 

NETBALL

Netball is a ball sport played between two teams . Its development, derived from early versions of basketball

Games are played on a rectangular court with raised goal rings at each end. Each team attempts to score goals by passing a ball  and shooting it through its goal ring. During general play, a player with the ball can hold onto it for only three seconds before shooting for a goal or passing to another player. The winning team is the one that scores the most goals.

It,s a game played with a small ball, between two teams of seven players.

THE COURT

 

The playing court has two goal areas and a playing area.

 

The goals are inside the goal area and must have a net.

 

RULES – FOULS (a team commits a violation of rules).

  • The players avoid to enter the goal area (except for the goalkeeper)
  • Two many steps without bouncing
  • Holding the ball more than 3 seconds.
  • Holding or pushing or hitting the opponent player.

Por fin ya están disponibles los videos con los montajes que hicistéis en la sesión de Acrosport. Algunos de ellos no están nada mal, teniendo en cuenta que el tiempo de diseño y preparación fue de 20 minutos.

En las últimas sesiones hemos trabajando, las dos partes en las que se divide el cuerpo, derecha e izquierda. En estos dibujos nos podemos fijar, en la derecha e izquierda de los demás, y la derecha e izquierda de los objetos…., vuestra derecha e izquierda, tenéis que practicar en casa.

En las siguientes semanas vamos a comenzar la unidad didáctica, percepción espacio-tiempo, mediante juegos, a la vez que trabajamos nos divertimos.
