The Animal Boogie

How to make your own flash cards II

If you are a Linux user, here you are an upgraded template to make your flash cards. Now you can use any picture format, there is no number limit for the pictures to be changed into flash cards. Just copy them into “Fotos” folder and double click “Flash cards”. The pdf file will be created.

How to make your own flash cards

Here you are a template to make your own flash cards.  Choose six pictures related to your topic. Copy them in “dibus” folder. Rename them into 1.jpeg, …, 6.jpeg And, after that open “plantilla.svg”. Your flash cards will be ready. Don’t worry about the original size of your pictures because with the template will be customize in the same shape and size.

The Mistery Box

This is The Mistery Box. It can be used in many different ways to adapt it to your interests. In this case, we are using it to review the body parts. Here you are the “ingredients” :

– A nice box.

– Flash cards.

– Mp3 player.

– Kids!!!

Place the flash cards inside the box. Hide them well to make them difficult to find. Play the music. The kind of songs is up to you. I prefer relaxing ones, They pass the box while the music is on, and when the music is off, they stop. The kid with the box will look for a flash card. And we continue that way until the flash cards are over.

Before this activity, we can play as well to find out if the box is empty or full, if it is heavy or light , the sound it makes, …
