Every September Ibaialde students start the school year with compositions where they introduce themselves to their teachers, and also to some penpals in other countries. Here we offer you some of those essays written in the last three years. We hope you find them useful as samples of how to do it, and we also ask you not to be very hard with their mistakes.

El alumnado de 1º de ESO del instituto, bajo la dirección de su profesora de Educación Física Dña. Ana LIZARAZU, disfrutó durante unas horas de diversas actividades al aire libre en el incomparable marco del pantano de Alloz. Allí pudieron navegar, aprender a orientarse, … pero sobre todo a disfrutar con las muchas posibilidades que la naturaleza nos ofrece.

Our School: In the eyes of the students (Publizcne Gimnazjum im Jablonna, 2007)

ESL Students at Publizcne Gimnazjum im Orla Bialego Jablonnie (Poland) introduce their school to their key partners at Ibaialde and show them what their school is like, and that is done from the point of view of the students. They manage to produce something which is both fun and descriptive. This production was directed by their teacher Ms Elzbieta Grzyb.
This video is part of the project My School, together with Ibaialde my school and Saint Joseph Central Catholic High School. The three videos were awarded by the Government of Navarra in the school contest Experiencias de Innovación Educativa 2007.

Teatro + Concierto + Karaoke (2002)

Pocas veces se puede obtener tanto como aquí en tan poco espacio de tiempo, y esto es lo que nos sucede siempre con las empresas que dirige la profesora de música de nuestro centro Dña. Mª Paz Fernández.
En la primavera de 2002, el alumnado de 1º de ESO ofreció a sus padres y madres un completo programa musical que incluía distintas piezas musicales trabajadas en el aula y un abanico de canciones en formato Karaoke. Pero el tema central del programa fue la representación teatral de El Médico a Palos hecha por estos jóvenes alumnos y alumnas.
Todos pudimos disfrutar de una hora entretenida, a la par que empezábamos a sospechar que alguno o alguna podría muy bien ganarse la vida con su arte interpretativo, ¿o no? (Laura, Josemi, …)

Troya (2005)

Aprender mientras nos lo pasamos todos bien es el objetivo de profesores y profesoras, y la esperanza de todo el alumnado, pero desgraciadamente no siempre es posible. Las profesoras Susana PUYO y Carmen ALMAZÁN demostraron con esta obra de teatro que se puede lograr, y su alumnado se lo agradeció.
Os ofrecezco aquí esta obra de teatro preparada por los alumnos y alumnas de 4º de ESO dentro de la asignatura de Dramatización. Esta comedia fue interpretada de manera libre y distentendida, pero con una gran dosis de profesionalidad, por todos y todas las participantes, y el público pudo disfrutar de manera intensa de la media hora de duración de la misma.
